  4. On round 6 for the toddler size, do you mean to say 4 hdc and then 2 hdc in the same stitch or 14 hdc and 2 hdc in the same stitch?

  9. I would like to use Red heart super saver which is heavier. Can I use a smaller hook and get the same results for a child size?

    1. Provided your increase rounds measure the same as mine you should be fine. So for child size measure after round 7. If the diameter is 6 inches you should be fine. If not adjust your hook size accordingly

  14. Hi Teri,
Regarding the white ears, when you create the last stitch ( sc3tog) , shouldn't we ch1 or something to hold that last stitch firm before crocheting to the pink portion?

    1. Are these the instructions you are talking about? Hold pink and white together and with white side facing you sc them together. Join to first sc with a sl st. Ch 1, turn. (pink side facing) sc around again. Join to first sc with a sl st and finish off.

If so you ch 1 after you sl st to join them together, I can't see that there is anything stopping you from putting in a ch 1 before if you feel you need to though.
